Haido Waitlist and Prize Draw – Terms

Last updated: 4 November 2026

  1. These terms govern the Haido waitlist and the related free prize draw described below (the “Prize Draw”), both run by Haido Technology Limited (“Haido”, “we”), a company registered in England and Wales, company number 16192551, registered office Arquen House, 4-6 Spicer Street, St Albans, Hertfordshire, England, AL3 4PQ.
  2. To join, you must be 18 or over and a UK resident. Joining is free. One sign-up per person. You must use a valid email address and verify it before we give you a queue position. If you sign up again using the same email address, we will not create a new queue position. We may reject or remove duplicate, fake or automated sign-ups, or sign-ups using temporary or disposable email addresses.
  3. Joining the waitlist doesn't guarantee access to Haido, or access by any particular date. After you verify your email, we will give you a personal queue link to view your position and a referral link to share. Please keep your personal queue link secure. Your position is indicative and may change as referral credits are awarded, until it freezes when the waitlist closes. We will notify you in advance by email of the date and time the waitlist will close and the deadline by which referrals must be verified.
  4. Referrals: each successful referral (a new, eligible person who joins using your referral link, verifies their email and passes our fraud checks) earns you a referral credit, which moves you up 10 places. Each referred person joins at the bottom of the queue and can count towards one referrer only. Only referrals that verify their email by the referral deadline and pass our fraud checks will count towards your final position, which freezes when the waitlist closes. Self-referrals and spam aren’t allowed. We may withhold or remove referral credits, correct queue positions or remove any affected queue position where we reasonably believe there has been fraud, manipulation or other abuse.
  5. Founding 1,000: when the waitlist closes, users in positions 1–1,000 will form the Founding 1,000. If fewer than 1,000 eligible users have joined by then, all eligible users will form the Founding 1,000. A Founding 1,000 place gives you early alpha access to Haido when it launches. Founding 1,000 places and early access invitations are personal, non-transferable and have no cash alternative.
  6. Access and communications: after the waitlist closes, we will invite the Founding 1,000 by email to create an account. Access will be released in batches based on each member’s final queue position when the waitlist closes, starting with position 1, so earlier positions will be invited first. You must accept the invitation within 7 days after we send it by following the instructions in the invitation. We will send at least one reminder. If you do not accept it in time, the invitation may expire and we may offer the Founding 1,000 place to the next eligible person in the queue, so that all the early-access places are filled. The same acceptance period, reminder and reallocation process will apply to any reallocated place. After those early-access places have been filled, we expect to offer access to other waitlist users in phases based on queue position before public launch, at which point the waitlist and any sign-up restriction will end, but timings and batch sizes may change. We will send service messages needed to verify your email, manage the waitlist, tell you about your Founding 1,000 status, administer the Prize Draw and give you access. These service messages are separate from optional marketing. You may unsubscribe from optional marketing without losing your queue position or any confirmed Founding 1,000 place, early-access invitation or Prize Draw entry.
  7. Prize Draw entry: no purchase or payment is necessary to enter or win. Each eligible Founding 1,000 member will automatically receive one entry into the Prize Draw. There is a limit of one entry per person. Prize Draw entries are fixed when the waitlist closes and do not depend on whether you subsequently take up early access to Haido. If an early-access place is later offered to someone who was outside positions 1–1,000 when the waitlist closed, that person will not receive a Prize Draw entry.

The Prize Draw is not open to Haido’s employees, officers, directors or founders, anyone directly involved in administering the Prize Draw, or any member of their immediate family or household.

  8. Winner selection and prize: one winner will be selected at random from all valid Prize Draw entries using a computer process capable of producing verifiably random results. The draw will take place when the waitlist closes or within two working days afterwards. There is one cash prize of £1,000. The prize is personal and non-transferable.
  9. Winner notification and payment: we will contact the provisional winner at the email address they used to join the waitlist no later than two working days after the waitlist closes. Before paying the prize, we may ask the provisional winner to provide information reasonably needed to confirm their eligibility, identity and ownership of the nominated account.

The provisional winner must claim the prize within 1 week after we send the notification by following the instructions in it. We will send 1 reminder during that period. If the provisional winner does not claim the prize in time, cannot be contacted, is ineligible or has breached these terms, the prize will be forfeited and we may select an alternative winner by a further random draw from the remaining valid entries using the same process.

After a valid claim, the prize will be paid in one cash transfer within two working days to a savings or investment account in the verified winner’s name. The winner will not be required to pay a fee, make a deposit, subscribe, purchase an investment or incur another cost in order to receive the prize. If the nominated account cannot accept the transfer without such a cost or requirement, the winner must nominate, and we will pay the prize into, another UK bank account in the winner’s name that can accept the transfer.

  10. Winner information and data protection: to show that a valid award took place, we will make the winner’s surname and county available to anyone who emails support@haido.com within one month after the waitlist closes. The winner may object or ask us to limit the information made available by emailing support@haido.com. Even if the winner objects, we will still provide the information to the Advertising Standards Authority if requested. We will process personal data relating to the waitlist and Prize Draw as described in the Haido Waitlist and Prize Draw Privacy Notice.
  11. We may change, pause or end the waitlist or the Founding 1,000 offer or access arrangements where reasonably necessary. We may suspend, cancel or amend the Prize Draw where necessary because of circumstances outside our reasonable control. We'll tell you if this materially affects you. Any change to the referral reward will apply only to people who join using your referral link after we tell you about the change. We will not remove earned referral credits or a confirmed Founding 1,000 place, or withdraw an early access invitation, unless we reasonably believe there has been fraud or abuse, you no longer meet the eligibility requirements, your access invitation expires under paragraph 6, or circumstances outside our reasonable control mean that the relevant access or benefits cannot be provided.
  12. Nothing here is financial advice. Haido isn't yet a live product.
