Who is behind Haido
Hi there, I’m Veronique. I’ve worked with money my whole career: as an investment banker, an early employee at Revolut, co-founder of a fintech with 1 million customers, and a senior leader at Monzo.
Yet 4 years ago, when I sat down to sort out my own money, I had no idea if I was on track for retirement or my kids’ university.
Nothing helped. Budgeting apps flagged my coffee habit. Generic chatbots weren’t good enough. Advisers wanted 1% a year. So I built a spreadsheet, and it still takes me hours.
Earlier this year, I realised the time had come to fix this. So I’m building Haido with my co-founder Tom, Revolut’s first engineering hire, and an experienced team from Revolut, Deliveroo, Monzo, Just Eat, Ocado and Expedia.
